The EMREX project arranges its third EMREX seminar at the University of Bologna 30th November 2017

 

 

 

Why and how to participate

 

EMREX is the solution for electronic transfer of achievement records between higher education institutions in Europe – and beyond! After a successful field trial the network is ready to roll-on, and new partners are getting ready to join.

 

Come and see what EMREX can be used for, how it is connected to Erasmus and EU, and how it will be organized in the years to come.

 

In this third EMREX seminar titled “EMREX unleashed!” we will discuss the future of student mobility and show you, why you should join this importan and inevitable network.

 Logistics

 

The event will be held at the University of Bologna, in the Giorgio Prodi Lecture Hall located in the monumental complex of San Giovanni in Monte, Piazza San Giovanni in Monte 2-40126 Bologna.

 

The Seminar is free of charge, but participants are expected to cover their own travelling and accommodation expenses.

 

How to reach us:

 

  • From the railway station: Bus nr. 11 and nr.30
  • From the Guglielmo Marconi airport: Shuttle service Areobus BLQ or Taxi (about 15 to 20 minutes to the city centre). A Taxi will cost €15-20.

Meetingpoint for the guided city walk 29th November 19.30:

 

We meet at Piazza del Nettuno (near the Neptun Fountain) where the citywalk starts at exactly 7.30 pm. It is an hour-long guided tour with a professional guide. After the tour at around 20.30 it will be followed by a welcome buffet at the Bar pasticceria Empero (jt’s located in Via Caprarie 4). This evening program is only for those who signed for the tour when registering.

 

Wifi at University of Bologna

 

University of Bologna uses eduroam. Instructions on how to use it can be found here.

 

For participants not able to use eduroam a temporary WiFi account can be arranged. Please ask about this at the register-table Thursday morning.

 

Hotels

 

Below is a list of hotels. and the number of rooms that have been reserved for the seminar. An important fair in Bologna is taking place at the same time, so it is important to book rooms early! Rooms are blocked (IN: 29/11 OUT:01/12) of course it’s possible to widen the period of stay (depending on the availability of each single hotel).
